Stayed here the night before attending a wedding at Leez Priory. Great location , just 5 mins away. Lovely rustic Inn, with a log fire, Check - in was easy at the bar, and we were taken to our room, which was situated in an adjacent lodge type of building. It was quirkily decorated, which i loved , beautifully clean, with crisp clean bedding, white towels, and a modern shower room with some toiletries. Rooms also have a hairdryer, which was a relief as I had forgotten mine We had dinner, so make sure you book on check-in, as it's really busy. Menu had lots of choices, and the food was great. A good night's sleep. Breakfast the next morning was good too. All the staff were really friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful place, each room was different and named. There was a modern shower room decent sized bedroom. It was however in the middle of nowhere. Some houses scattered around but most importantly there was no street lighting at all. The food was first class freshly made for you including breakfast. The prices were competitive, it was on a room basis only so the meals were extra. We had a lovely comfortable stay and would certainly go back again, ideal for rest and relaxation. First class...

What a lovely Pub. Very Nice staff, friendly locals, a busy vibe as people obviously used the pub for their evening meals and to socialise with friends after work. We had a comfortable twin room which is a purpose built annex next to the pub. the room had everything we needed, was warm, clean and comfortable. We got an uninterupted, comfortably nights sleep And a fabulous breakfast. The Chef at breakfast was such a nice man and made us fee really welcome. Good value for money.

Sadly, I had to leave before breakfast but what I saw of it looked amazing. It was tipping down with rain most of the two days I was there but the pub/restaurant is a convivial busy place with both locals and visitors, which makes it a great place to mingle and chat (if you so desired!) My room was warm, comfortable, nice spec and thus entirely appropriate for a short stay in a country location - chatting with members of the local Young Farmers charity was insightful!

A little gem of a place.., The room was amazing, very well set out and plenty of space. I think the room was called “Old Bob”. I had a disability and this room was perfect, a lovely wet room with a chair to shower and the light came on slowly so you didn’t startle yourself first thing in the morning. Food was extremely good, nice and hot and very tasty Definitely recommend it
